What exactly counts as a device?
Any physical machine, virtual machine, smartphone, or cloud workstation running the Aegis agent. Each is billed individually. Containers are counted separately as add-ons and are not included in your base device count.
What happens during the 14-day free trial?
Full access to the tier you selected — every feature and detection layer — for 14 days. Enter payment details to start; you will not be charged until day 15. Cancel any time before then to walk away with no charge. After day 15 your subscription continues unless you cancel.
Why does Family+ exist between Essential and Professional?
Essential is for a single user with up to 2 devices. Professional starts at 10 devices. Family+ (5-device cap) fills the gap for families, solo entrepreneurs, and small teams who need more than 2 devices but don't need multi-user dashboards or SIEM export yet. It also bundles our New product: AI Safety for Children full product and VPN-Children — the stack purpose-built for households.
What if I exceed my device limit?
Overages aren't auto-billed. When you reach 90% of your cap, we alert you to upgrade to the next tier. This keeps billing predictable — no surprise invoices — and ensures every tier is priced for its intended scale.
Can I switch tiers or billing period mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Switching from monthly to annual billing locks in the 17% discount from the next renewal.
Is there an MSP / reseller programme?
